This week, I had the priviledge of making a birthday cake for Evie. Her husband, Scott, called me this week and requested a cake to celebrate his wife's special day.
We decided on her favorite flavor: white almond sponge filled and iced with vanilla buttercream. Evie's favorite color is white, so we went with white rosettes for the design. It is a 10 inch round and can feed up to 24 people.
Scott left much of the rest of the design up to me, which was super fun and my creative juices started flowing. I decided to accent the cake with gold sprinkles and contrast the lettering on top.
I love the elegant tone this cake has. It's simple and beautiful. What do you think?
